About Me
I'm an ethical journalist, features editor, professional writer and former BBC researcher with
radio and presentation experience in sports commentary, reporting, music and news. Currently specialising in hard news, property, travel and luxury lifestyle genres, I can also cover a wide range of other topics across the board. These include human interest to the environment, sport to business, science to health and many more. I'm hard working and enjoy working closely with people. Over the years I've written for top quality publications and newspapers both at home and abroad. I was short-listed in the 2018 Property4Media Awards for Trade Publication Journalist of The Year.
As the former features editor of both 'The Good Property Guide' and 'The Good Wedding Guide', I'm well versed in publishing. I was also involved in producing the UK's first magazine on electric bikes and have worked closely with a number of other magazines including 'PGA Golf Professional'.
I can produce all forms of journalistic content from the writing of news and features to column, editorial and blog material. It's also been fascinating working in the public relations field creating press releases and coverage for some interesting clients. I've had the privilege of representing Spanish Property Choice, involving the now well known Garner family from the successful television series Sun, Sea and Selling Houses.
I'm available for all forms of writing work including the corporate and business sector, and a part of me goes into every project. I'm a published author and always open to future radio, voice-over or presentation opportunities.

I have a BA (hons) degree in communications, a journalism diploma, shorthand qualification, ONC in business studies, typing diploma and other qualifications in various fields.
I'm a big sports fan covering quite a lot of things from football to rugby, cricket to formula one, horse racing to tennis and much more. I'm also a season card holder at Sunderland Football Club.
I enjoy holidays and short working press trips, love music of all kinds, a little bit of photography, and surprise surprise – writing. I've ghostwritten two books and written one of my own. My reading takes in both biographies and autobiographies, most things to do with NASA, space and the moon missions, UFOs, the Second World War, some spirituality and a little fiction. Love watching documentaries on all of these things.
All aspects of life are fascinating and we are always learning regardless of age or wisdom. It's all about people, which is why I enjoy working closely with others. I believe a good journalist or writer should be able to tackle any topic with an open mind. You don't need to be qualified to ask natural questions, and there are so many more things to be discovered in life. I love what I do for a living, and if I can help others along the way in doing so whether it be through a story, my reporting or writing, I'm happy.
